Answers
Answer: The State of Colorado does not allow anyone to request the driving record of another person, regardless of the reason for inquiry. Driving records, while not necessarily the most critical information of someone’s privacy, are handled with the utmost respect for privacy. In order to obtain Colorado driving records, you must petition the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles to release the record and the reason for its release. Colorado’s DMV will only release records for the past seven years.
