Can I take traffic school for a high speed speeding ticket?

I live in California and got a traffic ticket for going about 20mph above the speed limit. I haven’t received anything in the mail yet but was wondering if I can still take traffic school?

In California you’re able to attend traffic school once every 18 months. 20mph does not make you ineligible for attending traffic school. Visit DMV CA for more information.
