Your case involves two elements, 1. Being pulled over for speeding in an “emergency” situation, and 2. Questioning the validity of the laser detector. There have been documented cases reporting inaccurate police laser detector errors that have went to the Supreme Court. Factors to consider are the state laws and statutes regarding contesting the accuracy of laser detectors in speeding tickets, the type of detector used, and the circumstances it was used in. This may or may not be a valid argument.
Also, typically when you are pulled over for speeding while involved in some sort of medical emergency, the officer would call an ambulance. In your case it is not exactly clear how severe or urgent the situation was. Consulting with attorney would be recommended as several factors come into play.
