I got a speeding ticket along with a lot of other cars I think was unfair as part of a Speed Trap. Can I fight this ticket?

I live in northern california in a suburban area close to a few larger cities. There is a certain part of my town off a high way where the speed limit is 50mph, then it suddenly drops to 30mph with a sign that is very difficult to see. As a result, I got pulled over for speeding along with 4 other cars infront of me. Is there anyway to complain to the State or take legal action in fighting this ticket? I want to fight traffic tickets!

Speed traps are a very common tactic used by police around the nation in order to generate revenue for the state. In some regions of the country, speeding tickets generated by speed traps account for more than 50% of the ticket revenue. As a result, certain parts of the United States have set up laws prohibiting a high proprotion of speeding tickets coming from "speed traps."

However, as wrong as speed traps may seem, they are legal almost everywhere. If you feel the sign was nearly impossible to see, you can take this matter to the State or Local Authorities to dispute it. You can also consult with a Traffic Ticket Attorney in your area to see if anything can be done.
