I just got a ticket for running a red light from a camera. I think its unfair because as I proceeded to cross the intersection, the car in front of me had braked not allowing me enough room to pass the line in time. Is there anyway to fight this?

Fighting a red light traffic ticket administered through a Camera is difficult to fight and usually unarguable. They set up the system and technology to only issue tickets when you clearly had a chance to slow down and stop, but you did not. However, your situation is unique. Given the fact is true, there should be several pictures and even camera footage of the intersection you were issued the ticket in.
You should schedule a court appearance on your ticket and attempt to explain your situation to the judge. If the evidence checks out, the judge might work out a deal with you and reduce the charge of the ticket. Having it dropped al together is unlikely but not impossible. You can always speak to a Traffic Attorney to see if it is a case worth pursuing. Red light tickets can be anywhere from $350-$450.
