Texas right of way laws are extensive, and deal with many different issues related to the concept of "right of way". For instance, one Texas law provides that pedestrians have the right of way when crossing an intersection controlled by a traffic signal, but that the pedestrian does not have the right of way if he or she crosses the intersection in violation of the traffic signal.
