Speeding Violations

Perhaps the best way to avoid speeding violations is to simply not get them in the first place. If you are pulled over by a police officer for speeding, there are some steps that you should take in order to help minimize your risk of receiving a speeding ticket. First and foremost, you should remain calm and quiet while the officer discusses the situation with you. You initially should not admit that you were speeding to the officer; allow him or her to tell you why you were pulled over. At this point, you have three options - you can admit your guilt and hope that the officer will appreciate your truthfulness, deny your guilt, and try to come up with some reason to back up your denial, or simply do not admit or deny guilt at all, but, rather, come up with an excuse to explain why you might have been speeding. While no method is foolproof, you might consider these different options when you are pulled over speeding.
