Get Out Of A Speeding Ticket

Get out of a speeding ticket by beginning to fight it the second you are pulled over. How you act with the officer can effect whether or not you are even cited for speeding. Be kind; do not be rude of confrontational. Make sure the officer clearly see you at all times. Never admit guilt, always plead ignorance. Ask the officer nicely to be given a verbal or written warning due to your ignorance. Should this fail and you are ticketed, be sure to document all important variables like the amount the traffic, road and weather conditions, and where the officer was when you were ticketed (moving or stationary). Ask (it is your right) to see the radar and note the speed it reads. Write down the radar model and where the officer was when the radar was placed on you. Follow this up by determining if the radar gun is properly calibrated, and what the range for the model is, as the officer may have been too far away for an accurate reading. Once you get your court date, try to delay it. As your case is small, the officer may not show, leading to a dismissal. Plead "not guilty." And as a last resort, try to enter into a traffic school course in exchange for having your ticket waived.
