Get Off Speeding Ticket

Getting off a speeding ticket is a process that begins the moment you are pulled over. Make yourself available visibly and act kindly. Do not ever admit to speeding; instead play ignorant to your speed. Ask to be given a written or verbal warning. If this fails, make detailed notes of the encounter, including weather and traffics conditions, the time of day and where the officer was situated, noting whether or not other traffic was in his or her way when they clocked your speed. Ask to see the radar, and note the speed and model. Write down the type of model, as many models are not 100% accurate from outside of a certain range, which ties back into where the officer was situated. In addition, if you go to court, request all data about the radar gun as well, specifically when it was last calibrated and if it was up to date on all certifications, (this is your right). Once your court date is set, try to delay it multiple times, as this increases the likelihood the officer will not show up, which immediately results in the ticket being thrown out. In court, plead "not guilty," and as a last attempt at escaping the ticket, ask to go to traffic school instead.
