Fix It Ticket California

A fix it ticket in California is a citation for a mechanical violation on your vehicle. Once you receive the ticket, you have a set time to fix the violation. After the violation has been corrected, you need to take the ticket and proof of the correction to the police station were the ticket originated from and have an officer sign off that your violation has been fixed. This will remove the ticket from your record. Failure to do so, however, will result in fines and points on your record, as well as the possibility of repeatedly being ticketed for the same violation. Be sure to keep your receipt for all damages fixed, as this is your proof you took care of your fix it ticket violation. Common fix it ticket violations include broken headlights, broken taillights, broken turn signals, broken bumpers, broken windows, broken bumpers, illegally tinted windows, missing front (in red light camera zones) and back licenses, expired tags and lost auto insurance forms.
