Fight Parking Ticket

To fight a parking ticket, you must successfully prove your innocence by clearly documenting your case. This can be done depending on the circumstance surrounding the parking ticket. Was there no signage? Or was a sign broken or in disrepair? Had a sign been covered by graffiti or some other foreign object and was thus impossible to read? On the other hand, was a tree or something else blocking the sign? Alternatively, was it a matter of painted directions on the road no being decipherable? Was the paint chipped or faded? In any such incidents, take clear photographs of what you felt led to your ticket. If it was a case of a problem with a meter due to the meter also being blocked or visibly broken, take a picture of that as well. If you felt the ticket was the result of an improperly calibrated meter, than it is your right to request the maintenance records for that meter to ensure it was properly maintained. In the end, it is up to you to prove you innocence, by building and presenting a clear case.
