Are you paying too much for your car insurance? You probably are if you have been in an accident lately or if you have received a ticket for a moving violation or worse. The problem is, you can't do much about it once you've been found guilty of either of those offenses. Points or offenses cause insurance companies to consider you a greater insurance risk and they therefore increase your rates. Those points can remain on your record for years. If you do face either problem, the second best alternative is to seek to attend traffic school in lieu of a fine and/or points. If that is approved and you complete the course successfully and on time, your charges may be dropped and have no affect on insurance rates.
